Little Brother's been working this summer vaca, and it's hilarious to watch what he spends his money on. Last week he wound up spending his whole weeks pay (and a little more that I had to loan him) on this set up. Spent the better part of Saturday afternoon gettin this set up, and I'm suprised with how well the end result came out.
The bucket seats are out of a '95 Bronco for $80 (which match the interior of his '94 f150 perfectly), we had to litterally work around the crap inside the cab to get these out. Some digestively challenged animal had used the interior as a porta-john at one point and left puddles right behind the driver's seat. The sub is a 12" Xplod that he picked up from his friend in the box for $50.
Then we found this 400w RMS Infinity amp at Best Buy on clearence for $140 (this is where Ben ran outta money) and picked up some 8g wire as well.
Overall it's a pretty sweet set up. In high school I didn't want to spend money on anything that wouldnt make me go fast, but I still think it's cool that Ben has an itch to customize whatever he's driving himself. Even if it's not for the sake of breaking speed limits.
